Can someone beat me over the head with a club
So yesterday I made Banana bread using coconut flour. It tastes really good but because I am scared to eat it I only had a little.
Here is the recipe....I doubled it and made a loaf.
1 ripe banana, mashed
½ cup TIANA coconut milk
½ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon almond extract
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup sifted TIANA Organic Coconut Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
Blend together mashed banana, eggs, coconut milk, sugar, salt, vanilla and almond extracts. Combine coconut flour with baking powder and whisk thoroughly into batter until there are no lumps. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan and bake at 175C (350F) for 60 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
So is Coconut flour paleo????
I have so many questions and so many people eat different verisons of paleo...
What do I eat? How much fruit is too much? How often should I eat!! Make me want to pull my hair out!!

then take 85% of that weight and do as many reps as you can with it

WOD awesome!! Bruised from shoulder to shoulder from back dips yesterday... Owwwww! Did mostly all real push ups today!
So, came home to no power and starving. It's hard to eat on a whim with no power and keep it paleo.... Settle for Subway salad with filler infested (I'm only guessing) chicken. Have to recover the muscles somehow LOL! could have done worse....

Today's workout was at Point Pleasant Park. 10 - 1, 100 skips, 10 air squats, 100 skips, 9 air squats and so on down to 1! That was the warm up!
There is a hill, which is rough rocky terrain and has a cable to help get up if needed. Climb the hill as fast as you can and do a running loop back to the bottom of this hill as many times as you can. Let's just say at the top of the hill the legs are jelly!! I did 8 rounds!
Great workout! My 8 and 10 year old even did a couple rounds!

So I have been trying out all kinds of interesting recipes to satisfy my appetite and found this great website... The Paleo Table
So while searching for something yummy to eat I stumbled upon a great recipe for Stuffed Acorn Squash. When I made it I exchanged the sausage for lamb chops and it was DELICIOUS! Even my hubby thought so!! Thought I would share the recipe :)
Serves 2 with some filling left over
this recipe is paleo
1 acorn squash
1 tbsp olive oil plus more for brushing
1 green bell pepper, chopped
10-ish asparagus stalks, chopped into bite-size pieces
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 tbsp Jamaican curry powder
1 tsp arrowroot powder
1 package (5 links) gluten-free chicken sausage
(I used two lamb chops for this one)
salt & pepper
